What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
